This is camelthorn South African hardwood known for being incredibly dense and stable.
Collector's grade. The colour and figure on these is wild😍
Deep, rich reddish-brown to orange heartwood with dramatic dark veining, swirling burl-like figure, tight interlocked grain, and really comes to life when oiled.

Extremely hard and naturally oily, so it takes a glass-like finish straight off the lathe.

Perfect For:
Pool / Snooker Cue making, segmented turning, knife handles

Camel Thorn is one of the hardest African acacias and is getting very difficult to find in this quality and length 30x2x2" . All 12 blanks are straight, well-seasoned, and ready to work.
