Look who just arrived! 🫒

We've just had a very exciting Jellycat delivery at La Wode, featuring these adorable Amuseables Olives. They are already making themselves quite at home in the shop (and looking perfect next to our new olive-print tableware!).

Jellycat characters always fly off the shelves, so be sure to pop into Bembridge quick while stocks last if you'd like to give them a new home! Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.

We have officially gone Rachel Ellen mad in the shop! ✨

We've got some lovely new bits in stock, from sweet shopping bags and fun 'roarsome' notepads, to colouring books and pencils (perfect for keeping the little ones busy!).

We are absolutely loving these new arrivals in the shop today! 🫒

This beautiful new range is handcrafted from mango wood, and the lovely olive design on the chopping boards and serving spoons has us dreaming of summer salads and dining in the garden. We’ve got the salad bowls in a few different sizes, plus some other gorgeous designs tucked away in store too.

Pop into Bembridge and have a mooch next time you're passing!

We are breaking our own rules for the Bank Holiday! 🎪

As you've probably seen, the wonderful Bembridge Street Fair is taking place this coming Monday, 25th May. We are normally strictly a Tuesday-to-Saturday shop, but we absolutely couldn't miss out on the fun!

La Wode will be OPEN this Bank Holiday Monday so you can pop in and see us while you're enjoying the stalls, the music, and the food.

Fingers crossed for some sunshine (the forecast is currently promising), and we look forward to seeing you all there! ☀️

We absolutely love supporting local talent here at La Wode! 📚

We are delighted to stock these wonderful children's books by Isle of Wight author and illustrator, Peta Rainford. We've got 'The Ni**le', 'Jacob Starke Loves The Dark', 'Milly's Marvellous Mistakes', and 'Isabella Rotten Speller' in store right now.

Best of all? Every copy we have is actually signed by Peta herself! They make such a lovely, unique gift for the little readers in your life.

Well, it's safe to say unicorns have taken over La Wode today! 🦄
