Formed in 2015 and crowned Senior All-Ireland Céilí Band Champions in 2018, the Blackwater Céilí Band has become one of Ireland’s leading traditional music ensembles, proudly representing Tyrone and Ulster across Ireland, the UK and Europe.

One of the standout moments will see the band join forces with Highland pipers led by Andy McGregor, alongside Irish and Highland dancers, in a special cross-cultural collaboration celebrating the shared traditions of music and dance.

With Belfast preparing to welcome the world’s largest celebration of Irish traditional music, the Blackwater Céilí Band’s involvement is a proud milestone for both the group and Ulster’s rich musical heritage.
