Hi! It’s nearly a year since The Wicker Man shop closed😳since then, I have been making unique products with Kingsroad Studios. Here is a little story which shows that you never know where your path will take you: Years ago, The Wicker Man sold the most beautiful Celtic knitwear by Turnip House based in The Mournes. John and Elaine do not supply shops anymore. Instead, they bought an old ruin in Ballyward and created the magical place it is now. Kingsroad Studios is so happy to name them as our newest customers. You will find our art cards in their little shop, along other local makers work. Yesterday was such a special day for us. We headed down to Showcase Ireland in Dublin to surprise many of our former suppliers with a little visit. Some hoped we were there to announce that we were reopening but unfortunately no. We just thought it would be nice to see them all to say hi, bye and thank them for all their support in the 27 years we were open. We never missed the show in all that time🌟Such a great bunch, we miss you all 💖

One of the things I miss most from The Wicker Man is meeting people. I will be doing just that today and in days to come at Artcetera Studio in Rosemary St from 11am to 5pm⭐️The new Melting Pot exhibition is fantastic. Beautiful works showcased by local artists and artisans. Kingsroad Studios is adding to the mix with hand painted cards, bookmarks and jewellery, my now full time occupation 💖Call in between now and September 25th. Welcome to our new exhibition Melting Pot IV. it's the fourth edition of our group show presenting talented local Artists from different backgrounds, Art practices, styles and ways of expressing themselves. A great opportunity to meet the artists, discover their work in a welcoming environment and support the local Art scene. We will also take part in the £100 high street voucher scheme announced by our beloved government, a great opportunity to support your local Artists and Art venue.
