Job Title: Store Manager
Location: Norn Irish Gift Shop, 4 Donegal Square West
Hours: 40 hours per week – Full flexibility required

About the Role
Norn Irish Gift Shop is seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our stores. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working directly with customers, leading a team, and maintaining a welcoming retail environment.
Our stores are known for their friendly atmosphere and engaging customer experience. The successful candidate will be confident in speaking with customers, creating a positive shopping experience, and ensuring the store consistently reflects the high standards of the business.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the daily operations of the store, ensuring high standards of presentation and customer service
• Lead, motivate and support the store team
• Provide a welcoming and engaging experience for customers
• Work collaboratively with other staff members and company management
• Maintain excellent organisation, punctuality and reliability
• Support staff development and contribute to a positive team culture
• Lead by example on the shop floor
• Handle daily cash management responsibilities including tills, cash handling, and reconciliation
• Maintain accountability for store finances and follow company cash handling procedures
Requirements
• Previous retail management or supervisory experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with customers
• Ability to lead and support a team in a busy retail environment
• Excellent timekeeping, organisation and reliability
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with full flexibility, including weekends and peak retail periods
• A professional approach and strong work ethic
