I love trash 🩷🦝

This is a 1950s Chad Valley tin toy guitar that I replaced the tuning pegs on and set up as a 3 string slide guitar 🎸

The slide is a 1/4 pint milk bottle 🐄

The tape deck is a Little Tikes cassette player I modified to work as a down n dirty Lo-Fi amp 🔈

I used the SubPro pickup from 🤿 it can do a whole lot of stuff, but it also just makes for a great thin surface mounted pickup (and is the only thing here that is not trash 😂)

I love using weirdo gear. Creation through limitation 🤓 I believe even the jankiest instruments and equipment have at least one good song in them, even if you have to get experimental

Getting weird with 🫨🎸

I find the SubPro to be an inspiring bit of kit 🧠there's no 'one thing' that it does. Rather, it allows you to explore your own ideas for how it could be used 🤔

My first thoughts were to hard pan every other string left and right as shown here, as well as add a lower Octave to the bottom 3 strings and a higher Octave to the top 3 strings (check out my previous reel or the full demo video on YT 📺)

I'm sure everyone would have a different idea for how to use the SubPro, so lemme know what you would use it for! 😎👇
