Happy Wednesday everyone. We’re open, and will be until 5:30pm! Nee stick arriving today/tomorrow including Michael Jackson, Stray Kids, Ethan Cain and many more! Lots of Reggae bits arriving also. Also! The pre-owned box is here at last. A small crate but we are drop feeding nee bits down daily. A real Moz of vintage collectibles and used popular titles for cheap! They need a home so come on down and see if these is anything for you. Lots of new £1 CD’s will be put out over the next few days along with a fresh load of 7’s (we found some awesome ones yesterday).

1. Limp Bizkit - Significant Other; not a single weak song on it, it gets me extremely hyped up and excited and sounds absolutely amazing live:) Released in 1999, it reflects the music and chaotic nature of the time perfectly

2. æspa- Rich Man; my favorite æespa mini album. Released in 2025, it has a very raw sound, very different to other k-pop releases of the time, making it stand out. Absolutely amazing visuals from all the members aswell

3. Enhypen- Desire:Unleash: First of all, Enhypen is 7. I would reccomend every single Enhypen release, but Desire:Unleash specifically stuck with me. It has absolutely amazing songs and Enhypen’s whole discography has no skips

4. Pierce The Veil-Collide With The Sky; released in 2012, it is a staple in the post-hardcore world, making headlines as the best post-hardcore album, together with releases from My Chemical Romance. Every song sounds different and for every feeling you might have, there is a song on there to reflect it

5. Metallica-Ride The Lightning; Released in 1984, Ride the Lightning is the perfect example of thrash metal sound. Heavy drums and even heavier guitars dominate every single track on top of James Hetfield’s unfiltered vocals

Next up in the staff picks queue is Beth who is currently with us on Sundays and Mondays. Check out what she recommends and why below:

1. Nostalgia by Chase Atlantic - One of the first EPs I ever wanted a physical copy of but for years they didn’t sell it, until they finally released old projects recently.

2. Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally by Harry Styles - His latest and my favourite Album of his because of the synth-pop sound.

3. Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish - Very nostalgic for me and takes me back to coming out of lockdown! It has a variety of serious topics and fun songs.

4. Dawn FM by The Weeknd - The Album that made me buy my first ever concert ticket and the literal best night of my life and made me realise I liked the 80’s sound, the second album of his second trilogy of albums and I love conceptual music.

5. Good Riddance by Gracie Abrams - My go-to crashout album. It talks about some relatable aspects of growing up but isn’t too dark.

Our full timer Josh had a dig through the bins yesterday and picked out a few classics to talk about, check out his staff picks below:

1. Cream - Disraeli Gears: Reached the high chart positions in the uk and US had appeared on several greatest album lists - name of the album was humerus because it was a mispronunciation related to Benjamin Disraeli.

2. The Kinks - The Kinks Are The Preservation Society : Released in 1968 about early English life and childhood and effects of modernization on traditional culture - what makes the album special is the uplifting mood it puts you in with tracks such as village green and picture book

3. Jimi Hendrix - Axis: Bold As Love: The second album released in 1967, this is one of my favourites because it has to be one of Hendrix most complete emphasising melody atmosphere and songwriting this album reached no 5 in the UK and no 3 in the US.

4. George Harrison - All Things Must Pass: In my opinion one of the greatest solo albums made by any former beatle long story short every song is perfect!! It was a bunch of songs he had accumulated during his years with the Beatles this album hit no 1 in multiple countries and is inducted in the Grammy hall of fame.

5. Velvet underground - Loaded: The title came from the record company’s request which was loaded with hits - Lou Reed left the band before the album was released over time has become what was an underground release to one of the greatest rock albums made!
