There have been some exciting new arrivals in the shop this week:

New novels in hardback from Maggie O’Farrell and Ann Patchett

Drayton and Mackenzie by Alexander Starritt was my book of the year for 2025 and is now out in paperback. If you haven’t done so yet, read this book - it is amazing!!

And there is an Independent Bookshop Exclusive Edition with sprayed edges of The Eights by Joanna Miller which is now out in paperback

The Long Shoe by Bob Mortimer is now in paperback and I have an independent bookshop edition with sprayed edges

Signed copies of Blitz by John Nichol are available

Douglas Stuart’s new novel, John of John has had fantastic reviews

And Paul Warner’s terrific debut espionage novel, A Spy in the Blood, is now in paperback

I just about managed not to shed tears while reading the brilliant Heart The Lover on the plane

And the shop is now back open!
