Though The Artizans is closed, I think it’s important to use this page to do some good! I hope you don’t mind but I’m taking advantage of that fact that this page has a few followers because there’s a wonderful community that needs our help…
Overton’s local high street and small businesses - in this current climate some are really struggling and I mean really struggling.
I know, it's inevitable given the current status of our economy.
Commercial rents, supply chain issues, supplier increases and a downturn in business- we know the story and we can help in a very small way that goes such a long way.
If you can, sometimes think local shops first.
Many of us are making our money go further but the smallest purchase really helps local shops and businesses.
A coffee, a card, a bag of spuds, a plant, a tin of cat food, a jar of jam, a balloon, a pork chop, a pint, a bag of buttons - anything, it will help more than you know. Seriously.
A tiny regular purchase really supports a shops survival. If we all make a small, tiny regular purchase - well, that can lead to good business.
Can’t shop? Help by liking local businesses social media pages - that’s really supportive too.
Can’t get to the high street? Many shops can take orders over the phone and deliver.
