Welcome to Buddy Up ❤️

Yesterday I put up a status explaining how covid is impacting on my life. I wasn't asking for help (I'm too proud for that) I was just trying to explain what it is like for me right now being self employed but unable to work. I was absolutely blown away with the amount of people that reached out to me offering help. I got speaking to a friend (when he was buying me some shopping 🙏) , what if there was a buddy up service where we can pair up people with big hearts that are still working with people that have hit hard times and don't know how or where to get help.

So we are looking for Buddies that would love to be paired up with someone in need and of course we want to hear from anyone who would like a little help. There is absolutely no judgement here as I am also a victim of civid related hardship.

So if you need a little assistance please drop is an inbox. All we need to know is what help you need. It could be walking your dog, picking up a prescription, a food shop if you're shielding or issolating, help with bills or just someone to talk to. Also let us know where you live (this is not exclusive to Basingstoke)

Once we have teamed you up with a buddy they become yours. We will put you in touch with each other and leave you to communicate privately. This is absolutely confidential as we know how hard it is to ask for help especially if you would never normally need to.
