Cardiff & Vale Fibrofighters Our charity commenced after Linda Winning-Wyatt was diagnosed with fibromyalgia.

Cardiff and Vale Fibrofighters are a charity for sufferers and the carers of people with Fibromyalgia.Our support network extends to social media, regular weekly support meetings at various locations in Cardiff and the Vale and relaxing areas instore. She and Alan, her husband, were both left feeling confused and isolated as they were left to deal with this chronic condition. The two decided they

didn't want other people to go through the same feelings alone, so they decided to start weekly meetings that eventually expanded into the official charity that we are today. Our support groups and seminars include information on fibromyalgia to help raise awareness of this chronic condition that is difficult to diagnose. At the moment, we cover Barry, Fairwater and Penarth but we hope to expand to the whole of Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan and someday, beyond to provide as much help and support we can provide. Your donations will help us achieve this and expand research into fibromyalgia and how to manage the illness. Currently, we're working alongside the NHS, Welsh Assembly and other disability forums and groups to inform more people about this difficult condition. 29th Monday Kelly will be coming to give a brief presentation on her life and an outline of the therapy she uses. With a possibility of then doing fortnightly a session on each therapy how it works etc. She will also arrange a date for Barry area. Once arranged will post as well.

Join our vibrant shop and help us keep our charity running!

Responsibilities will include;
- Sorting shop donations.
- Setting up and rotating shop displays.
- Working alongside a friendly, diverse group of volunteers.
- Take pictures of displays and help keep this page up to date,
- Communicate with customers and make sales!

What we are looking for;
- Someone who is organised
- Can turn up on time
- Aged 15+
- Learns fast
- Available Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays but not necessarily for every day.
