A very nice mirror for "local legend" Shaun Passmore from a recent trip to Jennetts Reservoir with Mr Jenkins!

Both had a few fish but a mirror is particularly nice to see from a water predominantly inhabited by commons....and a lovely mirror it is too! Nice one buddy!

Rowen has had a spectacular haul of fish from Karen’s lake!!

The most he’s ever had in a session is 3 fish from the venue but his latest trip saw 15 carp landed to 20Ib!! Great effort buddy!!

🪱 PLEASE BACKFILL 🪱

Due to the Ragworm shortage it seems everyone has decided to dig at a popular spot on the taw.

Please if you do decide to dig please BACK FILL your holes, it only takes 2 mins to backfill and will make sure the beds remain as well as they can.

As a business we rely on the harbour Ragworm to get us through the winter for the flatties hence why we stay away from it until September/october time and stock the king and lug instead.

Everyone is entitled to go and dig and we appreciate with no worm available this week in the shops some have had a go at digging the harbour rag for themselves. If you are unsure of back filling once again come in and ask.

We also have plenty of frozen baits that will get you out catching plenty of fish so if you are unsure of an alternative method come in and have a chat.

Open today (Sunday) 9am - 1pm.

No king ragworm this weekend unfortunately as we've been let down due to the heat. Plenty of frozen baits in store plus some pealer crabs which won't last long .

White Maggots ✅
Mixed Maggots ✅
No casters unfortunately.

Plenty of pellet and ground baits in for all your coarse fishing too .

Sometimes fishing isn't about showing off the biggest fish to your mates.....it's about fun, being amongst nature and making memories....which is exactly how it should be!!

Just check out this amazing shot of Nevaeh who was simply delighted with this little perch that she caught!! Just brilliant, well done young lady!!

Rowen targeted the catfish at White Acres and managed several of the prehistoric beasts up to 29Ib+ using a coctail of luncheon meat and worms! Well done buddy, bet your arms ached after that session!!
