The Werregue technique is an ancestral weaving art practiced by the Wounaan Indigenous communities of Colombia. More than a craft, it is a cultural legacy passed down through generations, requiring exceptional skill, patience, and precision. Each piece is entirely handwoven and can take weeks or even months to complete.

Behind every Meraki Heritage creation is the artistry of Colombian hands preserving this remarkable tradition. We are proud to celebrate and support the artisans who keep the Werregue technique alive.
