One of my favourite things in the shop is our antique shelf (which we bought from someone in Cullen who said her dad had gotten it in Amsterdam a long time ago and was told it was a cheese mould)… but having done some research, I think it’s a brick mould!

Anyway - it’s such a gorgeous wee set of shelves perfect for treats and treasures!

Good morning! We had these gorgeous notebooks arrive this week - and sadly, they are so overwhelmingly lovely that one of our visitors yesterday took one without paying for it :(

We would really love to give the person the benefit of the doubt, so if you could please pop back in and complete your purchase or pop the money through the letterbox while we're closed, that would be deeply appreciated, and we will say no more about it.

Independent business is the lifeblood of any town. We want to stay open, and you obviously want what we have to offer. So please don't be dishonest and hurt our small business. We always offer a layaway service, and you can pay things up as you need.

Lughnasadh / Lammas is coming up fast... we have the most beautiful arrivals of dried Corn cobs (with husks) and dried wheat and barley bunches, perfect for your seasonal Harvest displays and altars as we celebrate and give thanks for the abundance the growing season has given.

We also have a couple of copies of the Lammas Oracle deck in store, too - which is perfect if you are wanting to focus on themes of gratitude, transition and abundance over the coming weeks... or at any point of the year.

Despite the iffy weather, we’re creeping closer to harvest time and garden gluts by the day - and so, we have a couple of things you might find useful.

A beautiful array of books focussing on foraging and preserving, including this beautiful new arrival - Tge Apothecary Chef - which is full of recipes using beneficial herbs and plants (from the garden, and beyond!) for a long and healthy life. And if you’re going to live a long and healthy life, you’re going to NEED a good basket, right? 😉 🧺 🙌🏻✨✨✨

Whilst I will concede the sun definetely does not have it's hat on today... we are still all knee deep in the Summer holidays and likely have small kiddos around asking for snacks every ten minutes and hankering after a sweet treat. So, look no further.

The ever popular H A R T H who do the amazing hot chocolate we stock, and that you love - have gone and done it again, this time, with the summer in mind! Choc Shake blends for making the dreamiest chocolate milks and milkshakes (blend with some ice for a thicker finish!) you AND the kiddos will love. Available in Vanilla and Original (but both chocolate!) they are the perfect afternoon cool down treat and with approx 15 servings per pack, it'll keep you all happy for a good long while...
