Huge congratulations to Alison and Tom, who were married a week ago today ๐Ÿ’š

After sharing an enthusiasm for natural Spring flowers in colourful pastels, they trusted me to get on with it and create bride and bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, and table arrangements in an eclectic mix of cut glass for their table centres.

All British flowers, including plenty of homegrown Tulips, Choisya, Appleblossom, Pittosporum, Muscari, Centaurea and Forget-me-nots to absolutely pinpoint that day in the year. I hope they see these flowers blooming in theirs and others' gardens for many happy anniversaries to come ๐ŸŒฟ.

They couldn't have picked a better weather day to celebrate . Stunning Ranunculus from and Scilla from ๐Ÿ‘Œ

I've been meaning to take part in and share this survey for all of April...

With one day to spare, I've finally completed it in the last ten minutes!

It's to find out industry and public views about the British flower industry. And you can enter for a chance to win a ยฃ250 thank you.

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/britishflowers

It would be great to get as many perspectives on this as possible - give me a thumbs up if you find time to do it before tomorrow!

Thank you.

Have your say on the future of British cut flowers.

So c'mon then, who nominated me?!

No idea how I found myself in this esteemed line up, but it's very nice to be here. I'm normally more muddy than stilettos, but it's lovely to have been nominated, and I'm very happy to don a floral frock if I win ๐Ÿ˜‰

It'll be 's 9th birthday this summer, and I've never won an award before. Maybe this is my year....

I love what I do, and all the people I get to meet and shower with flowers in doing so.

If you've ever enjoyed my homegrown flowers, floral arrangements or service with a smile, please do spare 90 seconds of your time to vote for me- that's one minute to follow the link and vote in the Best Florist category, and then another 30 secs to verify the vote in your email inbox.

Hot out of the beds, in the boldest colours there are.

The sunshine this week is forcing forth Tulip varieties which change pretty much by the day!

I delivered to earlier, and she sent me this picture for a side by side comparison with supermarket Tulips: it's the size, the colours, the layers - all hard to appreciate until you see them juxtaposed.

More picked today, so if you want to celebrate while it's here and now, get on trend, and get in touch!

๐Ÿ’šI've still not seen much Asparagus around, so you can save next week's luxuries money for that and devour these Tulips today!

I can sometimes feel I share, and overshare and share again on social media.... but I know there's a LOT of content out there and it's highly likely a lot of my posts don't get seen.

๐ŸŒฟI HAVE FLOWERS๐ŸŒฟ

Plenty of them. Homegrown. Tall. Short. Scented. Unscented. Bright. Pastel. Simple. Flouncy

This warm weather has brought them forth rather quicker than expected. If I don't sell them, that's a lot of work between Autumn 2025 and now sadly wasted (there's only so many I can enjoy at home!).

If you need a gift (a birthday, an anniversary (it's mine and hubby's 15th today!), a congratulations or condolences bouquet) or just a seasonal lift for yourself, please get in touch.

Here's an example of the kind of things available at the moment. Clue, it's mainly giant Tulips!). Next week I literally might not have any....

Finally!

That point in the year when I have enough different varieties for a fully homegrown bouquet of bountiful blooms: Anemones, Narcissus, 5 varieties of Tulips, plus a little Ribes, Red Robin and Osmanthus.

Welcome April. May you be a blessed one.
