🚔 Drug dealer jailed and criminal assets seized 👀

Aiman Ahmed, aged 39, of The Courts, Banbury has been jailed for 3 years and 7 months for supplying he**in and crack co***ne.

As part of the investigation, officers seized:
✅ Class A drugs worth almost £8,000
✅ £9,495 in cash
✅ A Rolex watch worth around £7,450
✅ An Audi RS4
✅ Drug supply paraphernalia

Drug dealing brings harm and exploitation into our communities. We'll continue to target those involved, seize the profits of crime and bring offenders before the courts 👊

BANBURY📍 | NEIGHBOURHOOD UPDATE 👮
Over the past few weeks, you may have seen posts on social media regarding a group of youths causing repeated issues across Banbury.

We want to reassure our community that we are listening to your concerns and taking positive action. Yesterday, officers arrested and subsequently charged one of those involved with the following offences:

• Vehicle Interference
• Shoplifting
• Criminal Damage

The youth has been charged and is due to appear before the court in October🧑‍⚖️

PC Silcock from the Neighbourhood Team, who led the investigation, said:
"Anti-social behaviour can have a significant impact on our communities. Whilst some of these offences may be considered low-level, the effect they have on victims and residents can be substantial. We will not tolerate this type of behaviour and will continue to identify offenders, make arrests, and bring people before the courts where the evidence supports it."👮

We would like to thank members of the public who have reported incidents and provided information. Your reports help us build evidence, identify those responsible, and take positive action. We will continue to work closely with our partner agencies to address these issues using all available powers and interventions. TVP will now pass this to the court, and hope for a successful outcome⚖️

🚨 We have some very sad news to bring you. Officers searching for a missing woman, Caroline from Burford, have sadly found a body near to the River Windrush, Burford this morning.

The discovery was made following extensive searches by our officers and volunteers from Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire

Although formal identification has not yet taken place, we believe the body to be that of Caroline, aged 66.

Her next of kin has been informed, and our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.

We would like to that the community who came together to share the appeals for Caroline. We would also like to thank Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire for their support in assisting our officers with searches since Caroline was reported missing 🙏

The death is currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious, and a file will be prepared for HM coroner.

KIDLINGTON RESIDENTS 🚨 ❗
We've posted earlier today about the current (June 2026-August 2026) Neighbourhood Policing priorities for the Bicester Town and Bicester Rural areas, as voted for by local residents, coming to an end. Last but not least we turn our focus to the Kidlington area, including the surrounding villages.

We'll be publishing details of the operational activities we carried out to address Kidlington's priorities shortly. In the meantime, we're looking ahead to the next 3 months and need your assistance in helping shape local policing and the Neighbourhood Team's priorities for the coming months. A - The neighbourhood areas covered by our Neighbourhood Policing Teams (who are just one department within Thames Valley Police) are set by the Home Office. Historically, they would have by influenced by electoral ward boundaries. Prior to these relatively new housing developments being built, the land would have been within rural parish boundaries.

❓ I live in Banbury, am I going to get the chance to take part in this survey?
A - There will be separate surveys taking place for residents in these areas, which will be advertised on this account and via Community Messaging (Thames Valley Alert).

🚔 BANBURY| WANTED FEMALE ARRESTED🚔
Whilst out on patrol, Banbury Neighbourhood Officers spotted and arrested a female who was wanted for failing to appear at court🧑‍⚖️

👮 This highlights the value of local neighbourhood policing. Our officers know the names and faces of those causing the most harm in our communities because we disrupt and deal with them regularly.

✅ Another wanted person off the streets. ✅ Another positive result for Banbury.
