Well ... it’s been a weekend. Today I had my COVID vaccine so have had a very quiet chilled out day - trying to makes sure I don’t overdo and get any nasty side effects. So far so good 🤞🤞

However, I have made a pincushion. I’m quite pleased with this attempt. The cushion could’ve done with being a little bit bigger, I might change that - it’s not glued yet, so I can easily make a new one.

I’ll be ready for my sew-fest of an Easter holidays ... I have so many plans.

This seems to have taken me ages .. but really only about a week (couple of hours everyday).

I’m really pleased ... it’s my first attempt and I really like the result. Completed with 400g of luxury knitting yarn, bought in the sale from B&Ms means this is a bargain! It’s even got some wool in there! I used the v stitch which crochets quite quickly & it’s a mindful stitch to do.

I chose grey because you can wear it with anything.

Slightly different ... this project has been on the ‘go’ for months and I’ve finally finished it! I wanted to experiment with fabric dies and embroidery. It was more hit than miss, I think. I’m very pleased.

It’s ready to be gifted.

On my hook this evening... I’ve been looking at a blanket on Pinterest for ages and have been wanting to have a go! So I’ve made a start.

The 3D triangle - it will be a blanket eventually. It’s going to look fabulous!

I’ve been very quiet of late, but I have been busy.

I’ve made several items recently (for gifts so keeping them secret!) - however, I’ve just finished my first C2C blanket. I need to research a border, but I’m so delighted with it!

The only drawback was the number of ends to weave in! 🤪

Creativity doesn’t always go the way you’ve planned!
Yesterday, I posted a picture of my work in progress and said it was going to be a poncho!

Well .... it’s finished, but, it’s not a poncho. My bright idea didn’t work ... I made it too wide to become a poncho following the pattern I have. So , another neck warmer to my collection.

My current project ... I’ve found a poncho pattern I want to try, so having a go with this blue mix Aran from B&Ms. I’m sure it’ll be warm ... but there’s a lot to do!
