Reverse Whamaggedon!

Why not play along if you're out of Whamaggedon already 🤣

Every time you hear Wham's Last Christmas you have until the end of the song to put something Christmassy on and take a selfie !

So much more fun than avoiding it or turning the radio off!

Variety is key BTW so I've just sent the hunter gatherer up into the loft to gather the decs in case it plays again !

The happiest of Choosedays to you as we celebrate Elke B's 22nd birthday !

Of course our journey began on a Chooseday!
This particular Chooseday was 17th September 2002; it was the day when a talented and caring obstetrician chose to go into work early to make a phone call.

The cleaner was cleaning his office so he chose to use the phone on the labour ward .......

As he walked past the first Labour room the door inexplicably swung open and he got an eyeful of myself that I know he cannot erase from his mind as it was at that moment that Elke chose to try to emerge left arm first ! (If you want to know what mood Elke is in her left arm will always tell you!)

I am forever grateful of his rapid response to the panic of the scene unfolding before him , and the speed at which he managed to gather a crash team and all the key players into the theatre to perform the fastest of c-sections which enabled Elke and I to choose to live.(all before the hunter gatherer returned from the car with my bag!)

Since that day our family have made a lot of choices.
We have endured some horrific Choosedays and enjoyed so many many other hilarious Choosedays and quite a full stressfilled but mundane ones too.

Elke chooses to shine her light on so many other people's lives and encourages me to fix things we would never have known needed fixing and help many people we would never have met and improved life for thousands of others that will never know that we chose the fight to change things to make their lives a little easier than ours have been!

Thank you Elke for choosing to join our fabulous family and give it added purpose !

Wishing you many many more Happy birthdays 🎂

None of us know how the choices we make will impact the lives of the people we have not met yet!
