Oki Doki Handmade

Something for everyone, including those 'hard to buy for' friends and family. When I was little my mum taught my sisters and I to sew, knit and crochet. All skills that come in handy for me these days. But the sewing I hadn't really done for a long time. But like riding a bike you never forget, sewing is the same. I started the whole bag thing with upcycling jeans that my kids had grown out of but

were still good. Then, my oh-so clever husband, who is the inspiration behind just about all things creative that I do, suggested I look at other types of bags, a bit moe classy and upmarket to make. So that's how I started, and I have absolutely loved making the ones I have already produced and am looking forward to making more. I use one of my own made bags as my handbag and have had lots of compliments and questions about it.
