A wee apology — the shop has had to stay closed today due to an unexpected issue, and I’ve only just managed to become free now. 🙈

After getting home late’ish yesterday afternoon, after a fabulous weekend (more on that later), I was down at the shop last night replacing stock and filling the shelves.

Decided to dress the windows and save myself a trip this morning. Taking pictures in the evening seems better, don’t have my shadow in them 🤷‍♀️.

The lovely Lynda is in today taking care of things while I get cracking and finish off some orders that are just needing packaged, make up some new stock and pop out later on to have a coffee with a lady to discuss workshops 😁

However, for this morning, I’ll be surrounded by a varied range of smellies ….. ooerrr. Now that’s almost as good as Amanda’s punchline at the weekend ‘come in have a sniff and a feel’ 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Handmade by CherryGrove

From light & fresh, starting with ‘Cotton Clean’ & ‘Fresh Linen’ to a deeper, heavier ‘Dark Honey & Tobacco’, I’m going to smell just gawgeous 😍

Right, lack of sleep and sore feet have sent me over the edge. Coffee and making is the plan of action for me and I best get cracking before it gets too warm and nothing sets.

What an absolutely fabulous weekend away! 😍

I'm very late with my thank you's 🤦‍♀️. Wiped out and sore from head to toe are the signs of an exceptional weekend.

We had a brilliant day at the , with plenty of laughs, great company Handmade by CherryGrove and such a lovely atmosphere.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, and giggle at Amanda's 'come in have a sniff and a feel' which then became 'I make your home smell gawgeous and she makes it feel cosy; had a smell of the fragrances, bought something, ordered, took a card or complimented me on my packaging and display — every little bit of support really does mean so much to me personally and to my small business. It makes keeping going so much more rewarding 🥰

We stayed at the most fantastic campsite Cairngorms Glamping & Campsite, run by the lovely Pam and Robbie, who made us feel so welcome. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, relaxing and just what we needed.

And to finish the weekend off… live music while relaxing in the hot tub. Honestly, what more could you ask for? Definitely one for the memory bank! ❤️

Seems to be my week for minor mishaps. Mind you, my latest is hilarious - well it would be if it was someone else.

Am I market ready… well, I think I am 😂

Yeah right. Not a hope. Stock is packed and ready for going in the car later, gazebo, tables, all the usual bits and pieces that seem to multiply every time I do a market 🙈 already in the blue bag that i posted yesterday - well done, right?

Feeling quite pleased with myself thinking “Yep, I’m actually organised!”

Then last night, light bulb moment as it dawns on me while I'm sat there trying to remember why we had to put the back seats down last year … THERE'S NO BASE FOR THE GAZEBO!! 🤦‍♀️😂 Yep, I was so confident I was all sorted and I had no base.

4am, I'm out there in the garage, climbing up into the eaves to find it 🤣

Now I’m at the stage of wandering about, with that I've completely forgotten something feeling & constantly thinking…What else have I forgotten?! 😂
Am I ready? Probably. Have I got everything? Who even knows anymore because I don't! 🤷‍♀️🤣

I've printed off my checklist and am going around like Santa now and checking it twice. 🧑‍🎄📋✅❌

Hump Day :)

It's amazing how much we become accustomed to being surrounded by fragrances.

While making for , I was reminded of how much I love the Scottish fragrances. 'Heather' is a beauty. Brings a picture of running through the glens with the sun shining behind you to mind. Then 'Mist', what can I say.... makes you feel relaxed and grounded. Not sure it's supposed to but hey, that's what it does for me. 'Woodland' makes me think of walking through the woods at 5am, with the dew on the grass and droplets falling off the branches. Smell the flowers & the grass with an earthy base to it.

Anyway, gazebo looked out with the extra pegs, candles just need trimming and lids on and then they can go beside the finished ones in their travel box. Diffusers are going as they are and will join the boxed ones in their travel box.

Just got some melts and slates to finish and then once the cash box arrives today, I am all set - says no one ever. Wait and see me running round like a headless chicken on Friday morning cos I've forgotten something 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm away to have a cuppy and then back to more making. It's almost here Handmade by CherryGrove
