W H A T🤍T O🤍E X P E C T

The colour you see immediately after your spray tan is NOT your final result.

What you're seeing is the cosmetic bronzer, a temporary colour that gives you a preview while the real tan (DHA) develops underneath. For the standard solutions, your true colour develops over the next 8–10 hours and reveals itself after your first shower.

For the Express solutions which are developed for 1-4+ hours, your first rinse will appear like your tan has been removed completely, but then your true colour is revealed 8-10 hours later.

Here's what this means in practice...x

The initial colour may look darker or more obvious than your final result...
Don't panic if it looks intense at first. After your first rinse, the colour will be softer, more natural, and far more beautiful.

The bronzer can transfer slightly...
This is completely normal, it's temporary and washes out of most materials. This is why I recommend dark, loose clothing after your appointment.

Your true tan gets better with time...
Many clients are even more pleased with their tan on day two, which is why I recommend 1-2 days before an event or occasion. The colour settles into the most natural, gorgeous version of itself.

"I go to the gym a lot so will a spray tan even stay on me?' Honestly? I love this question, because it comes from a place of genuine concern and I want to reassure you...x

Here's the truth: sweating doesn't make a spray tan impossible. But it does mean your prep and aftercare need to be a little more considered...Here's my advice...x

🤍Give your tan time before exercising...
Wait at least 24 hours, ideally longer before your first gym session or outdoor activity. Your tan needs time to settle before it's exposed to moisture and friction.

🤍Shower quickly after sweating...
Don't sit in damp gym kit. Rinse off in a cool or warm (not hot) shower and pat dry immediately.

🤍Moisturise more consistently...
Skin that sweats regularly loses moisture faster. Daily moisturising is even more important for you.

🤍Avoid heavy friction...
Sports bras, waistbands and tight straps can rub tan away in specific areas. Go loose where you can in the days after your appointment.

Skin that's been prepped well, a tan that's been applied with love and care, developed fully, and looked after properly will stay on you even if you're active🤍

🤍Can I get a spray tan for my holiday?
Yes you absolutely can and I have specific holiday aftercare to help you get the best results.

🤍Can I still naturally tan after my spray tan?
Yes, but your spray tan contains no SPF so be mindful. Oil based sunscreens will encourage your tan to fade faster. So you're better sticking to a lotion/cream and checking your ingredients. By re-applying your SPF regularly throughout the day, this keeps your skin protected and hydrated.

🤍Will my tan all come off in the pool?
Swimming in chlorinated pools and sea water will encourage your tan to fade quicker, however after you've stepped out of the pool or sea, rinse off in clean water, pat dry and re apply your SPF.

🤍Can you get a spray tan if you already have a natural tan?
Yes and it can look absolutely stunning. As long as you aren't sunburnt or peeling.
A spray tan over a natural base can deepen and even out your colour beautifully. Just make sure you've exfoliated well and done your prep beforehand.

What I do... People sometimes ask me; Don't you get bored of doing the same thing every day?

And honestly? No. Not even slightly. Because it is never the same thing every day.

Every client is different. Every skin tone is different. Every consultation is different. Every result is different.

Tans are for all sorts of occasions, that might be a pre-holiday tan for someone who hasn't felt confident in a swimsuit in years. That might be, a bride-to-be who's been dreaming about her special day and wanting to glow with confidence. That might be for a busy professional who just needs an some time to breathe and leave feeling like herself again.

Every single client is important, no matter if you are the first one of the day or the last. I will always give you 110%, because that is what you deserve. Every appointment matters. Every tan matters. Every single result is personal.
