🚨 YOUR “REFURBISHED” iPHONE MIGHT NOT BE WHAT YOU THINK. 📱
We’re seeing more and more iPhones coming through our shop with copy-quality frames and back glass — and there’s a very simple reason why this happens.
Here’s how the cycle often works 👇
📱 1. Someone breaks their iPhone
The back glass or frame gets damaged.
💷 2. They take it to a cheap repair shop
The phone gets repaired using a cheaper aftermarket frame/back glass.
To the owner, the phone looks perfectly fine again. They might not even know that a copy part has been fitted.
🔄 3. They trade the phone in
They take it to Apple, O2 or another retailer and trade it in.
📦 4. The phone enters the used/refurbished market.
👨👩👧 5. A completely new customer buys it
And this is where the problem starts…
The new owner has NO IDEA that the phone has previously been repaired using copy-quality parts.
Until one day…
💥 CRACK!
Then we hear:
“I only bought this phone for my daughter ONE WEEK AGO and she already broke it!” 😂
But sometimes…
IT’S NOT YOUR DAUGHTER.
The phone may already have a copy-quality back glass or frame, which can be considerably more fragile than the original.
