Sending you a hug… 🤍

Tonight I sat down to create a new version of one of my old bestsellers.
I’d planned to share it simply as another little part of the refresh that’s been happening here at The Wendy House… but today has been a hard day and suddenly these words meant so much more.

Sending you a hug…
you may not feel it,
but it’s there.

Sometimes there really are no words. Sometimes all we can do is let someone know that they’re in our thoughts, that they’re loved, and that somewhere, someone is sending them the biggest hug. 🤍

So tonight, this one is for anyone who needs a hug.
For whatever you’re carrying quietly.

Every story begins somewhere...
Mine often begins with a walk along a Scottish shore.
Recently James, Kodi 🐾 and I wandered along the beautiful beach at Crail.
We weren't looking for anything in particular...
Just fresh air, the sound of the waves and a quiet moment together.
Then, nestled amongst the pebbles, I found something extraordinary...
A beautiful piece of orange sea glass.
Moments like this remind me why I create.
Every walk... Every pebble... Every piece of sea glass...
Finds its way back to my workshop and into a new story.
