Last month I was lucky enough to be awarded a Business Startup Grant from Aberdeenshire Council which has enabled me to invest in a super new website. I am buzzing (pun intended!) to say, after much hard work and support from Marc, founder of Aberdeen Business Online, the website - www.beechocolate.co.uk - is up and running and ready for your orders. I couldn’t be happier with the site which I feel reflects the essence of Bee Chocolate - simplicity, quality and authenticity 🐝💛🤎

So delighted to say Bee Chocolate is now stocked in the amazing Deeside Refill in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire!

Happy International Women’s Day 💛
What started as an idea in my kitchen, chocolate made with 88% cocoa and sweetened with honey instead of refined sugar, is now stocked in a few wonderful local shops.
Still small. Still handmade. Still learning every day. Here’s to women everywhere creating, building and trying something new.

When I was 59 I wanted to do something special to celebrate my 60th birthday so I committed to entering the Granite City Classic Bodybuilding Competition in Aberdeen, got myself a coach & started preparing for making some show-worthy muscle. Those who know will agree that sweet treats become moments of absolute pleasure when in a prep for a show. My 30g of dark chocolate per day was something I really looked forward to & I tried all kinds, eventually researching into recipes to make my own. 2 years down the line I have perfected my recipe and last year Bee Chocolate was born. Thanks to and for all their help as I couldn’t have done it without them. You’re never too old to follow your dream!

What a treat when Luke of visited today and brought me one of his beautiful handcrafted wooden crates. The passion Luke has for his craft shines through and we both agreed that community is a great part of our why, as well as producing something we care about greatly!
