It doesn't happen often but it's quite demoralising when it does.
I'm just one person trying to offer a community service for recycling.
Recently someone came in with a large bag of blister packs on a family member's behalf. Unfortunately the recycling bin is currently full, they asked if they could leave it with me and I asked if they would donate as each bin costs Β£112.
Sadly they didn't donate, and I had to sort through it personally finding other rubbish, food, and blister packs with medication still inside.
Please make sure:
π Blister packs are EMPTY
π It is ONLY blister packs
π Preferably in 1 bag, as they will need to be emptied loose into the bin
π Please, please donate if you're able. Even a couple of Β£'s, as it really does add up
If you have a large bag, it might also be worth messaging first to see if there is any space in the bin before bringing them into town. I am unable to store large quantities, and it just means that the next bin will fill up much faster preventing those that are willing to donate.
