POV: it’s 11pm and you’re 37 tabs deep into wedding planning

You’ve saved 426 Pinterest images.

You’ve changed your colour palette three times.

You can’t tell if you actually like meadow flowers or if Instagram told you that you do.

You just want someone to look at your venue, understand your style, and tell you what’s going to look incredible.

That’s exactly why I work the way I do.

This wasn’t my usual style. But it might be one of my favourite weddings I’ve ever done. Here’s why:

Bright pinks. Burnt oranges. Anthurium. Hanging amaranthus cascading down like something from another world. Hot pink linens. Streamers. And two people so completely and utterly themselves that every single detail just made sense.

This wedding was a full on celebration of personality — and honestly? It was a joy from start to finish.

Because here’s the thing. Beautiful weddings don’t come from following a trend or sticking to what’s expected. They come from couples who know who they are and are brave enough to just go for it.

These two had that in absolute spades. The love between them was palpable — you could feel it in the room. And the glittery capes that came out for the evening; I mean. COME ON. 🪩

Wedding florist creating romantic, lush floral designs for couples across the UK and beyond.

This is the thing that separates a wedding table that looks nice from one that makes your guests stop mid-conversation and just go… wow.

And honestly? Most couples have never heard of it.

Here’s what it looks like in practice:

LOW — bud vases, single stems, tea lights tucked between the place settings. The detail people notice when they sit down.

HIGH — a compote bowl absolutely spilling over with flowers. Something lush, something generous, something that makes you look twice.

That’s it. Two heights. But the difference it makes to a table? Unreal.

And if you want to elevate it even further? Mix your vessels. Bespoke compote bowls, bud vases, candlesticks — each one considered, each one adding something. The more layered it feels, the more alive and intentional it looks.

POV: it’s 7am. The marquee is empty. There are buckets everywhere and about six hours until your guests arrive.

This is my favourite part.

The chaos before the calm. Stems everywhere. The team moving fast. And then — slowly — it starts to feel like something.

By the time the last arrangement is placed, a blank canvas has become a whole world.
