Thank you for the greatest five years I could have asked for! It’s been an incredible journey and every single one of your faces has made it so special. From the bottom of my heart, I will miss seeing you all when my garage door goes up every Friday. And if you want to grab a cup of coffee or need someone to talk to, message me. Now that my days here are nearing their end, I’m getting so sad! But there’s no time for that yet! We have five Fridays left to go starting on the 16th. There may be a couple of Saturdays sprinkled in too. We will have loads of donuts and tons of our famous iced tea. I cannot wait to see all of you!

It is with so much sadness that I announce that Portly Byrd will be closing its doors mid-September. I have loved this journey so much and met the most amazing people. I still love what I do which is why this is such a sad announcement and there are so many reasons for making this decision.

I dreamed of making this business a social enterprise that helps free women from unjust circumstances. But right now it’s not sustainable for my family life. What’s next? Not a clue!! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m currently looking for the next adventure.

A massive thank you to EVERYONE for your amazing support over the last five years. I’ll be back making donuts August 16th with the last day being September 13th. Let’s make the last month the best one yet!
