Hello North East Open Studios Community!

An email has gone out to those who have signed up to the registration waitlist (check your junk folders).

If you are planning to apply this year, preparation matters more than ever.

We are hosting two FREE live Zoom training sessions ahead of registration opening on 1st March. Both sessions will be recorded, but if you want to ask questions live, join us on the day.

This year, what you submit in your application is exactly what will be published on the website and in the book. Once registration closes, you will only be able to edit your image gallery.

Applying quickly and “coming back later” to fix things is no longer an option.

We will cover:

• How the registration process works step by step
• Using the correct email address when signing up
• What makes a strong application
• Reducing confusion and frustration
• Profile image selection and why it really matters
• Getting What3Words right first time and avoiding map errors
• page URLs and why they need tidying
• How to write for footfall and attract the right visitors

North East Open Studios does not have, and will never have, a curatorial selection process based on artistic judgement.

We do have clear administrative criteria. Failing to complete your application in full is one of the very few things that could prevent you from taking part.

A new look, accessible website launches next week with updated guides, cheat sheets and checklists. Keep an eye on Facebook, Instagram and your inbox, including your junk folder.

Whether you are just starting out or have been practicing for years, you are welcome in the North East Open Studios community.
