Introducing Black Barrel Cask Strength - our first Distillery Exclusive!

The wait is over, and this special release is only available at the Mount Gay Distillery and our Visitor Centre.

Like the famous Black Barrel, it is distilled in copper pot and column stills, matured in American whiskey casks and finished in charred Bourbon casks. Why is it unique?

This new expression is bottled at 66% ABV.
Mount Gay Black Barrel Cask Strength brings layers of aromatic complexity with notes of leather, nutmeg, toffee and pear with smokiness and spice on the palate. The finish is creamy and round with medium persistence.

Sip over ice to allow the flavours to diffuse and mature over time. It works wonders in spirit-forward cocktails like a Manhattan or served with soda water.

From this first batch, around 1,500 bottles just made their way to our Distillery, in the Parish of St Lucy in the North of Barbados, and to our Visitor Centre, in Brandons on the West Coast of the island.
