In Scandinavia, where winters are long and summers all-too-short, light and warmth are essential. Like most Scandinavians, Eldvarm’s founder Louise Varre spent her childhood winters soaking up as much sun as she could during the day and sharing stories around a cosy fireplace at n
ight. She dreamt of the perfect fire that re-created the light and warmth of a midsummer’s night. She has now produced a range of fireplace accessories designed to keep winter fires aglow. Eldvarm was born of a passion for fire and design. Scandinavians grow up learning that in a harsh environment, good design makes life easier and more enjoyable. At Eldvarm, we take great care to make our fireplace accessories aesthetically pleasing, with a natural, organic feel. Our tools have been designed by Emma Olbers, a renowned Swedish designer who shares our commitment to making environmentally friendly, socially responsible products. Our materials are hand-picked for their reliability, purity and all-round quality and durability. All our accessories are produced in Nantes, France. And so begins the story of Eldvarm:
