While Copenhagen Fashion Week () focuses on sustainability this year, every brand has restrictions on materials, runway design and plastic use etc to follow.

Brands did a splendid job by using deadstock fabrics and pre-existing materials, and many of them are trying to design timeless clothes that people would want to wear as long as the clothes are still wearable. In the meanwhile, the concept of unisex wearing can also be notable.

It’s impressive to see how designers and brands apply eco-friendly practices and embed them into their brand spirit. Maybe it’s the start of a big change in the fashion industry?

The in-person New York Fashion Week is finally around the corner!!!!

The official calendar for New York Fashion Week was released a few days ago, saying that the show will “celebrate the reopening of New York City with IN-PERSON shows after two seasons of predominantly digital presentations”, according to the press release from CFDA.

With diverse designers including Carolina Herrera, LaQuan Smith and Rachel Comey, the upcoming event is totally worth looking forward to it! Moreover, the Met Gala will follow the New York Fashion Week this year and will be held on September 13th, (which is usually the first Monday in May) . Celebrities like ,Rihanna, , , , will all attend this Oscar of fashion version!

The shows will start from September 8 through 12th, stay tuned for the upcoming news from AUMARCHE:)

Copenhagen Fashion Week () has a more meaningful goal to reach than holding a fashion event this year. Being a cultural and commercial meeting place of the Scandinavian fashion industry, the team tends to use its influence on the promotion of sustainability with the sustainability action plan. New standards like 50% of the materials should be certificated organic, upcycled and recycled, not destroying unsold clothing, digitalizing the purposing samples etc. were followed by creative brands in the fashion week. On-site rules are also trying to reach zero waste on runway designs and plastic use.

“All industry players – including fashion weeks – have to be accountable for their actions and be willing to change the way business is done.The timeframe for averting the devastating effects of climate change on the planet and people is less than a decade” by Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week.

With fashionistas awaiting, Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) took place in August this year, all shiny and inspiring.

In CPHFW, talents can not only be spot on creative designers’ collections but colorful street style. Dopamine dressing (the idea of instilling joy through what we wear, usually with bright colors) plays mainstream in the whole street look style this time, featuring bright colors and prints is definitely the trend for this year. With various kinds of vintage styles, wardrobe wear and brand clothing, you may find a lot of surprises here.

"Father, Son, and House of Gucci.”

”House Of Gucci()”, which starred Lady Gaga and Adam Driver, is one of the most anticipated movies for fashion lovers to dig deeper into the affairs behind a fashion family dynasty.

The movie revolves around the murder of Maurizio Gucci, who took over the family business as the head of the fashion house Gucci, and Patrizia Reggiani, who was tried and convicted of orchestrating the assassination. The House of Gucci tells the story and the power struggle of the Gucci fashion house and everything behind all the glamorous appearance.

"It’s better to cry in Rolls Royce than to be happy on a bicycle." The classic line of Patrizia Reggiani shows her twisted personality toward money. Being dubbed as the “Black Widow” of fashion by the press, her style is without a doubt another highlight of the film.

The film is scheduled to release in November this year. Grab your popcorn and get dramatic with “House Of Gucci”!

Nike started to select 10 emerging designers as “Serena Williams Design Crews” two years ago, which is dedicated to inspire designers of color who are underrepresented in the fashion design world. "I want people from all walks of life to have the opportunity to be in the room," Williams said. "There's so much incredible talent out there. I hope the next generation sees this program and is inspired to get involved."

Inspired by this iconic female tennis athlete, the collection includes athleisure wear and footwear, which will be available on Nike’s website and stores on September 1.
