The pattern for these socks will be coming to Ravelry very soon. For now, I’m finishing them in my test yarn. It’s a classic sock yarn, and I’m really enjoying it. The bright, colorful pattern keeps the process fun, and the pattern is so engaging that every detail feels like a little challenge.

🌟New Pattern Release🌟

«Little Scarf» is here - a delicate, feminine accessory you’ll fall in love with from the first stitch.
Light and elegant, it’s the perfect small project with a beautiful result.

I especially recommend using fluffy yarn - it creates a soft, airy look and gently hides small irregularities in the knitting.

This scarf is worked seamlessly from tip to tip and is beginner-friendly, making it a perfect relaxing knit.

The pattern is now available on Ravelry (user name: Hollywoolstore)

🌟New Pattern Release🌟
A lot has gone into this design - hours of knitting, calculations, fittings, and experiments with gauge and length. And I am so happy to finally share that my new pattern « Silk Road » is now available for purchase on Ravelry.

« Silk Road » is all about minimalism with a beautiful textured feel, clean lines, and a modern flattering fit. The pattern includes 2 options in one - a T-shirt and a longsleeve. It also comes with 2 neckline options - a narrower neckline and a wider neckline.

The garment is worked seamlessly from the top down, with a European shoulder and neat i-cord finishing. The pattern is detailed and includes photo and video support for the trickier parts. Skill level - intermediate and above.

Yarn:
BC Garn Tussah Tweed, 100% tussah silk (50 g / 250 m)

Sizes:
XS / S / M / L / XL / XXL

Yarn requirements:

My before and after washing - pure magic 🫧
I truly love this transformation 💖

Loch Lomond is 100% organic wool, and this magical transformation after washing is exactly why I value it so much. Before washing, it is simply a good fabric. But after washing, it becomes completely different. The yarn opens up, softens, evens out, gains volume, a light halo, and a special texture. The stitch pattern becomes more visible, the stitches seem to settle into place, and the tweed flecks begin to stand out even more beautifully.

Yarn: BC Garn Loch Lomond
Needles: 4.5 mm
Yarn consumption for size S: 7 skeins

Today I’m showing you how I bind off 1x1 rib with a crochet hook.
Just remember these 3 steps, repeat them to the end of the row, and voilà - you get a stretchy bind-off. It’s simple, easy, and so effective.

I try not to rush and to enjoy the process of working with Loch Lomond yarn. I don’t have a yarn winder, so I wind each skein by hand 😄

Hello everyone! 🪺🐰💜🐣

Easter is next weekend, and for the occasion I have prepared a simple tutorial for knitting Easter eggs.

For this toy, I chose fluffy yarn - the increases and decreases are less visible on it, so the fabric looks smoother and neater. Besides, this yarn is lighter in weight, which means the finished eggs can not only be used in your decor, but also, for example, hung on branches.

Below is the full knitting process.

Cast on 6 sts + 1 st to join in the round. Set BOR.
Round 1: knit all sts.
Round 2: work with yo: k1, yo - repeat to end of round. 12 sts on the needles.
Round 3: work without increases.
Round 4: work with yo: k1, yo, k1 - repeat to end of round. 18 sts.
Round 5: work without increases.
Round 6: work with yo: yo, k3 - repeat to end of round. 24 sts.
Round 7: work without increases.
Round 8: work with yo: k2, yo, k2 - repeat to end of round. 30 sts.

Then work 6 rounds without increases.

Move on to the decreases.

Round 15: k2tog, k3 - repeat to end of round. 24 sts.
Round 16: work without decreases.
Round 17: k1, k2tog, k1 - repeat to end of round. 18 sts.
Rounds 18 and 19: work without decreases.

Stuff the egg with stuffing.
Round 20: k2tog, k1 - repeat to end of round. 12 sts.
Round 21: work without decreases.
Round 22: work all stitches k2tog. 6 sts.

Then pass 5 sts one after another over the 1st stitch in the round.
Weave in the ends.

And that’s it - your Easter egg is ready.

It takes only about 10 minutes to knit. You can decorate the finished eggs with beads or embroidery.

🐰🪺🎀Easter is already next week, and I even managed to knit some decorative Easter eggs for the house, but the beautiful photos of my Bonjour gloves knit in DROPS Alpaca 100% had been sitting in my archive all this time - so here they are at last.

If you’ve been looking for a simple, neat and elegant glove pattern, my Bonjour Gloves pattern might be just the one. The gloves are worked top-down, from the cuff to the fingers, with a thumb gusset and a comfortable, well-shaped fit.

I’ve thought through every detail of the pattern - it’s clear, straightforward and easy to follow.
The pattern includes 4 sizes: the smallest one requires just 1 skein of DROPS Alpaca 100%, while the other three need 2 skeins.

The pattern is available on Ravelry and on my website hollywool.eu, and you can also buy the yarn in my shop.

What’s h+h Cologne?🧶🧶🧶
Right now, the whole world of knitting and creativity has come together in one place - and I want to show you this atmosphere from the inside.

Every spring since 2018, I’ve been coming to Cologne for h+h cologne - the leading international trade fair for everyone who lives and breathes knitting, crochet, sewing, and the entire yarn & craft world.

This is where brands, designers, and shops from all over the world meet.
This is where trends for the upcoming season are set.
This is where ideas turn into real projects and collaborations.

During these days, Cologne becomes 48,000 sqm of pure inspiration:
colors, textures, new collections, and creative people all speaking the same language - the language of creativity.

For me, it’s not just about inspiration - it’s a point of growth: new partners, fresh ideas, and the development of my yarn shop.

And every time I leave, I feel like even more opportunities are ahead.

The next edition takes place April 2-4, 2027, in Cologne.
Don’t miss it🚨🙌🏽
