I honestly got curious…
do many people in the UK actually win on this app?
So I just Googled it — and I was honestly shocked by how much people are winning, and how often.

I never really cared about the lottery.

For me, it was just something you see in real life — people in the corner shop, grabbing a ticket next to the till while buying milk or a coffee. They always joke about “what they’d do if they won”. I’d smile… and move on.

Then one evening, scrolling through Facebook after putting my daughter to bed, I saw an ad for it.
I ignored it. Then it popped up again. And again.
At some point I thought, alright… maybe I’ll just see what it’s about.

So I downloaded the app.

It didn’t work straight away.
I tried a few times and honestly thought, “yeah, this is silly.” I was about to delete it.
But I gave it one last go.

And then… I won.

Not millions, not life-changing money.
But enough to make my heart race. I just sat on the sofa staring at my phone, trying not to wake my husband, half laughing, half in shock.

That money helped more than I expected.
I paid a couple of bills, bought my daughter something she’d been asking for, and treated myself to a small weekend away near the coast. Nothing fancy — just a break.

It made me realise something.
Sometimes it’s not about becoming rich. It’s just about a little bit of breathing space.

I’m not saying this will happen to everyone.
But if you’ve ever been curious like I was… maybe just try.

You never know.
