My name is Pat Hughes and I live in the beautiful centre of France in the mountainous region of the Auvergne. Pat # # #

I have been making teddy bears for 3 years and love every minute of it. I love bright colours and really enjoy the challenge of finding and using the most unusual materials, therefore I mainly create my bears from the highest quality synthetic and faux furs as these give me the colour ranges that I love. I will use other materials too if I spot a really unusual one. I also love to create bears fro

m both antique and modern mohair and will be adding a few more of these to my website throughout the Summer. Recently I was invited to appear on France3 TV with my bears - not an easy challenge when I had to do the whole broadcast in French... I will be downloading this as soon as possible. My bear Rosie also appeared in May/June 2011's Teddy Bear Times magazine. I hope you enjoy visiting my website and meeting my bears.
