Made a couple of plates at the Bodgers Ball, what a pleasure to spend sometime with . The one day courses at the Bodgers were terrific this year, such variety and top class instruction.

Met .Philippon-woodturning at the Origine Corrèze show this weekend. Haven’t met Martin in a while but was a lovely surprise. The work was wonderful and so creative, even for an electric turner😉🤔

First natural edged bowl in a while but the walnut wood so deserved it.

Xmas market at Abbaye d’Aubazine. Through the window is my stall, the peacock used the alcove as its sentry box and made sure I behaved myself.

Found a beautiful little Peugeot drawknife at the vide grenier today In my experience it’s rare to find a straight one rather than having a slight curve. It was in great nick but blunt and miss sharpened. Not any more, a couple of hours and a Tormek. This gem is ready for my tool kit!
