LEARNT SOMETHING VALUABLE IN THIS STORY
The Lesson From a Market Mother.
He was playful that morning until a little later he seemed exhausted. He rolled up to his mother and murmured into her ear in kiddy words, "mum I'm hungery."
They didn't have breakfast that morning. They came early to the market because she needed money for her child's diapers.
Yesterday the mother collected some kaukaus from the back yard garden to sell for diapers as the last was worn.
The mother heard the child and her heart was aching but she pretended as if she never heard the child.
Inside her bilum there was no money. Her hope was on the customers but none came and bought their kaukaus. All only paused and passed by to the next because the kaukaus were not of quality.
The little one started to get irritated as the mother continued to ignore his request. Soon he was sobbing and lamenting.
The mother had no choice but was left with one Option as a Christian woman. As the child continued to pester. She bowed her head low, lifted her heart in sincerity and with faith said a short silent prayer.
Upon saying AMEN, an old man who looked dirty and hideous from nowhere appeard, dropped K4.00 and collected two heaps of kaukaus.
The mother lost of words said, "thank you" to the old man and lift her blouse to wipe off tears. That was enough to buy diapers and some cheap flour bolls as they eagerly wait for some more cheerful heart customers.
Today the son is a professional and a master's degree scholar. When he goes shopping, he buys his market food from deplorable looking sellers. He also buys from sellers who have products that are not of high quality not because he likes the products but because he knows that few or none would have bought from the seller due to the product being of low quality. however, the matter of fact remains;
EVERY SELLER HAS A NEED.
Every seller at the market has needs. Sometimes step aside and buy from a seller who's been passed by many customers. Your buying could make a difference.
