New design for Taito magazine 🌸

Tänään julkaistu 3/26 sisältää mun suunnitteleman Flourished Moments -paidan ohjeen.

Neulotaan lace-vahvuisella langalla 3 mm puikoilla. Mallikappaleessa Merinosilk Lace (saatu 🤍).
Neulotaan ylhäältä alas eurooppalaisella olkalinjalla ja istutetun hihan kaltaisella rakenteella, minkä ansiosta paita istuu päälle erityisen kauniisti. Ihanan kevyt, kesään sopiva pitkähihainen paita.

Jaa kaverille, kuka vois olla myös kiinnostunut 🫶🏻

Suunnittelin Snurrelle topin, joka neulotaan ylhäältä alas eurooppalaisella olkapäällä ja v-pääntiellä, jonka reunoissa on aaltoilevaa pitsiä.
• Ohjeessa on 6 kokoa ja suositelty väljyys on 0-5 cm.

Rinnanympärys: 83,5 (92) 101,5 (111,5) 121 (130)
• Neulotaan sport-vahvuisesta langasta, esim. Antigone, Cotton Baby Lino tai Trio 2.
• Arvioitu menekki 480 (520) 580 (640) 700 (740) m.
• 3 mm pyöröpuikko (tai käsialan mukaan).
• 23 s × 30 krs = 10 × 10 cm sileää neuletta.
• Ohje on suomeksi.
• Testineulontaan on aikaa noin 3 viikkoa ohjeen saamisesta.

I used merino sock, color Blue Dreams held together with Filcolana Tilia, color 337 Bright Cobalt. This combo is the brightest blue 💙

While on the topic of machine knitting, let's give a spotlight to these Mayhem Original sweaters from a few years back.

Also, here is my yarn recomendation for both hand and machine knitting:
My sweater is knitted with Tynn Peer Gynt which has held up so well over these years. Barely any pilling and keeps its shape. Can't wait to use it again.

My new years resolution was to experiment more with my knitting machine and this is already the fourth sweater of the year.
After a few basic sweaters I wanted to challenge myself drafting a pattern with a new construction.

The inspiration behind this shape was arched windows and doorways in historic architecture. I attached an i-cord to emphasize the seam and shape.
No finishing on the edges to keep it more casual with the i-cord ties and romantic ruffle cuffs.

I used a custom blend of dark blue merino-cashmere yarn with a strand of black silk from and black silk mohair. It drapes beautifully and In the sunlight you can see a strong hue of blue.
