Mandatory "I'm leaving for holidays" post from Oak Barrel of Helsinki Vantaa airport.

Production will resume March 24th.

Finished six guitars last week(end), got three guitars in absolute last stages of finish & lacquer, and got two for-sale guitars coming within week or two after my return.

Oh, and I've been filming a new video as well. Simo has been a busy boi.

That drink? It's tonic. And lemon. And ice. Among other things.

Oh, nothing much. Just 6 commissioned guitars, 1 "jump the queue" guitar from earlier this summer, 2 special projects for many times over returning customers, and 2 guitars for sale.

Also, I got less than two weeks before my summer holidays. No pressure at all. No, not at all.

FOR SALE 2595€ including shipping within continental EU.

Story time: I sold this guitar in early June, made the shipment, and all was good. The shipment got lost or misplaced, and the shipping company couldn't locate it anywhere. Most likely the shipping label had come off (my bad) or it got damaged. Felt strange to me how they could've misplaced an item that's basically the size of a refrigerator; for a moment I thought that a shipping company worker had managed to steal it.

My guess is that the new material (Penn Elcom 'FLight Panels' - Polypropylene) on the case doesn't stick nearly as well to the shipping labels as the previous material (phenolic coated plywood), and the label had come off too easily.

After confirming with the shipping company that it had actually been lost, I got insurance claim on the value and reimbursed my customer. Silver lining on a a mushroom cloud and all that.

This was during July, four months ago.

A few weeks ago I got a message from the shipping company that they had found the guitar, all intact and undamaged (apart from few scratches on the case, I can get more photos if asked). They sent it back to me from the US, and now I have it here. Again. For sale. Again.

It's all undamaged and unaffected from the journey it went through, all ready to rock (and metal) at a moment's notice.
