Ruoto Predator Classic Finland on kansainväliseen "pyydä ja päästä" -tyyliin järjestettävä heittokalastuskilpailu. Kilpailu järjestettiin ensimmäistä kertaa vuonna 2015 ja onnistunut tapahtuma sai jatkoa syyskuussa 2016 ja 2017. Tapahtumasta on muodostunut perinne, joka saa jatkoa jälleen 21.-23.9.2018. Kilpailualue on Loviisan ja Pernajan vesillä. Kilpailu käydään kahtena päivänä, perjantaina ja
lauantaina. Kilpailuun mahtuu mukaan yhteensä 40 kahden hengen venekuntaa. Kisakalat ovat ahven, hauki ja kuha, joiden yhteispituus ratkaisee voittajan. Saaliiksi saadut kalat mitataan ja valokuvataan, jonka jälkeen ne vapautetaan. Kilpailun voittaja palkitaan Lund 1600 Fury veneellä, Mercuryn 30 hv:n perämoottorilla ja venetrailerilla.

Lund Predator Classic Finland is a ‘catch and release’ fishing competition, which was held for the first time in September 2015. The successful event was continued in 2016 and 2017. A new tradition has started since the competition will be arranged again this year in September 2018. The competition takes place in South-East Finland one hour from Helsinki, in a small municipality called Loviisa. The competition center is hosted by Rönnäs Seaside Resort. The fishing competition areas defined by the organizer, are located in Loviisa and Pernaja. These areas are situated in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland. The maximum amount of participating crews is 40 and each crew consists of two fishermen. The event starts on Thursday 20.9. All boats must must arrive and register at the competition center. Registration starts at 16:00 pm and ends at 20:30. The captain’s meeting will be held after the time of registration at 21:00. Short captain’s meetings are also held in the morning of each competition day. The competition takes place on Friday 21.9. and Saturday 22.9. between 9:00 and 16:00. Targeted fish species are perch, pike and walleye. To submit a fish, participants take the length measurement, snap a picture and send it to the competition center. Each fish must be handled carefully and released as soon as possible to the water. The crew who total up the greatest number of inches, will be rewarded with a Lund 1600 Fury boat, Mercury 30 hp outboard engine and a Pega boat trailer. The total value of all prizes is more than 20 000 euros.
