Surprise! 🎉 Can you guess the reason for the 18 month radio silence?

I am now a Hippie Mom! 👩🏻‍🍼💜☮️

I last posted to this account in March 2024 - you can see me standing in a groovy little crystal shop in Lanzarote 🌴 What I didn’t know when that photo was taken, was that I was pregnant! 🤰🏻

Unfortunately, around the middle of my pregnancy I had to spend several weeks in hospital - which meant temporarily closing the door to my little Hippie Crystal Hut. I had planned this as a very short closure; but then more problems led to me spending months in hospital before and after birth (baby is fine though 💕). As a result, the Hut had to stay closed and is still closed now. ☹️

But there is a light right at the very end of this very long tunnel! 🌞 I’m now pretty much fixed 😄 and CANNOT WAIT to start planning the reopening of The Hippie Crystal Hut. 🛖 We’ve also moved to a new location, which means a groovy new upgrade for my stockroom and office 📦✏️

I’ve really, really missed connecting you cosmic souls with your cosmic crystals 🔮 and I’m really grateful that you’re still here. I’ve still been watching quietly in the background, trying to stay connected to the crystal world and the hippie community. ✌️🌈 Some of the accounts I follow here really brought me so much sunshine & good vibes all those long miserable nights in hospital! So thank you for that. 🧡💜💛

If you’ve read this far, I really appreciate you! ✨ I don’t know exactly when the Hut will reopen its little door, but I’m working on it! Stay tuned 📻

Hey hippies, it’s been a while! Hope you’re all groovy? ☮️✌️ I’ve got lots going on at the moment, but I’m still working away behind the scenes, packing & posting crystals 🔮

I recently came back from a peaceful little trip to Lanzarote 🌞 One of my favourite places in the world! Every time I go there I have to make a visit to La Mina - the grooviest shop on the island 🏝️

Did you know there’s a crystal native to Lanzarote? It’s called peridot or olivine - olivina in Spanish 🇪🇸 It forms in black basalt rocks right on some of the beaches, although you’re no longer allowed to take pieces of it away. Check out the last two photos for examples of this 👉 I’ve also got some gorgeous peridot chip bracelets in the shop at the moment 💚

I’m off to pack some more orders now, and delude myself that it’s summer ☔️ Can you believe I’ve had to put the heating back on? 🔥

Talking local crystals today 🇬🇧💜

Luxullianite is a type of granite that is found only in Luxulyan, Cornwall (UK). It’s made up of a few different minerals including tourmaline, quartz, feldspar & mica. 🌿 It’s a perfect crystal for grounding, earthing and connecting to nature.
