Sea Glass Pebbles

I see that it has been almost two years since I last posted here. Since then, I've been to the beach in Catania and Alicante but didn't find any sea glass at all. I miss it!

This past Christmas, I fell and broke my shoulder and foot on the first day of my holiday 😭 Anyway, I'm 7 weeks in and recovering well.

I hope all my sea sisters and brothers are doing well around the world 💞

On Christmas Day, we took a sunset boat trip from Málaga and a pod of dolphins swam alongside us. That was the most precious gift 🐬 These are screenshots from the videos, which I'll post next.

Yay, I got to see the Mediterranean Sea again! This time, it's Malaga Beach. Initially, it looked like there was no sea glass to be found but, after a little while, I got my eyes tuned in and found a few pieces. Seeing all the drifts of pebbles, I thought it would be a better hoard, but I'm happy with these and with getting my toes sea salty again. 🌊💙💦

We went to Plaża Sobieszewska (Poland) in the hopes of finding some little pieces of amber but, alas, found nothing, nor any sea glass, but did see some nice shells and driftwood and lots of cute little jellyfish 🪼 oh, and the sand was beautifully fine and lovely to walk in ... albeit a tad exerting. Also, the Baltic Sea was not 'baltic cold'!!! At this time of year anyway 😉 The walk was amazing as well, through an evergreen forest...again, tough going along a sandy pathway, but so worth it. You may not find treasure, but you will find beauty.
