Ander Arroitajauregi starts violin making on 1992 while finishing his studies on music in the Taller de Luthería del Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Bilbao J. Later he continued his training, specializing on Early Fretted Instrument making at the London Guildhall University. After having finished there spends some time as an apprentice in the south of France. On 1997 he opens his workshop

in his hometown where he does building along with restoration and set up work. Fifteen years after, this new workshop opens at ground floor, trying to make it closer to the musician, offerin also a range of student instruments

Ander empieza sus estudios de construcción de instrumentos de arco en el Taller de Luthería del Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Bilbao-Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga– y más tarde se especializa en instrumentos Barrocos y renacentistas en la London Guildhall University (Higher National Diploma. Early fretted instruments). Tras finalizar sus estudios completa su formación con un periodo de aprendiz en el sur de Francia . En 1997 instala su taller en Eibar donde realiza trabajos de construcción de instrumentos junto con los de reparación y restauración. La idea de establecer este nuevo taller nace como respuesta a la necesidad del músico, (sea profesional o estudiante) de encontrar un lugar cercano donde satisfacer sus necesidades en cuanto a su instrumento. Intentamos responder a las necesidades de cada persona, desde la cercanía, sea músico profesional, alumno o padre de alumno, sabiendo que la demanda de cada una es diferente y tiene sus características personales tiene sus necesidades personales

Arroitajauregi lutheria estudioa orain dela hamabost urte sortu zen Ander Arroitajauregi luthierraren eskutik. Bilboko J.C Arriaga Goi Mailako konserbatorioko Lutheria Eskolan hasi zituen bere biolingintzako ikasketak. Honen ondoren londreseko Guildhall Unibertsitatean errenazimendu eta barroko garaiko instrumentuetan espezializatu zen (Higher National Diploma. Ikasketak bukatu ondoren bere formakuntza borobiltzen du Frantzia hegoaldean aprendiz bezala.
1997. urtean Eibarren jartzen du bere lantegia. Bertan instrumentua berriak egiten ditu eta baita konponketa eta zaharberritze lanak ere. Taller hau zabaltzeko ideia musikarien beharreri erantzuna emateko bezala jaio da, naiz hasi berriak edo profesionalak izan. Sociedad de la Vihuela eko kidea, Erresuma Batuko Viola da Gamba Society-ko kidea, The Galpin Society– ko kidea, eta GLAE- Gremio Español de Luthieres y Arqueros de España– ko kidea. Lutheria estudio hau zabaltzeko ideia musikarien beharreri erantzuna emateko bezala jaio da, naiz hasi berriak edo profesionalak izan.
