A high quality single vintage, single malt whisky from cult distillery Longmorn.

This whisky was bottled for Gordon & MacPhail's retro Distillery Labels series, and features notes of sweet malt, toffee, apples, pears and vanilla.

A very interesting whisky from Kilchoman’s Small Batch series.

The series shows off the distillery’s smoky spirit in different sorts of cask maturation.

This dram has been aged in a combination of Bourbon (70%), Oloroso sherry (5%) and Fino sherry (25%) casks. Fino is a very dry style of sherry, not often used to mature whisky, which often imparts a somewhat savoury character to a spirit.

The single malt itself offers notes of apples, pineapples, bananas, mango, guava, salt, sea spray, maritime peat, wood ash, subtle dried fruit, buttered bread, toasted malt, and smoked meat.

Bottled at 49.2% ABV, this is a medium bodied, flavourful whisky.

A delicious and flavoursome dram from Teeling Whiskey.

This whiskey is part of the Sommelier Selection, and has been aged ex-Red Wine Casks from the Douro region in Northern Portugal.

The result is a spirit with notes of black pepper, cherries, dried fruit, plums and vanilla.

This dram has been matured for 26 years in Oloroso sherry casks, developing plentiful sweet spice and dried fruit flavours.

Ardlair is the name given to some unpeated Ardmore.

This single cask bottling contains an interesting unpeated version of Ardmore’s spirit, which was aged in a refill butt for 11 years.

The spirit itself offers notes of red currant, raspberry, creamy malt, vanilla, pepper, toffee, oak, cinnamon, brown sugar, pepper, raisins and red apples.

An excellent single varietal Armagnac from Tariquet.

This spirit was made entirely from Plant de Graisse grapes. This is an ancient and rarely seen variety of grape that the Château replanted in 2001. Plant de Graisse is known for a full body, and a long finish when distilled.

After distillation, the Armagnac was aged for a minimum of 18 years in French oak casks, producing a spirit with notes of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and vanilla, alongside cocoa, liquorice, intense dried grapes, peppered old oak, subtle leather and to***co leaf.

A single wine cask whisky from Taiwanese distillery Kavalan.

This single vintage whisky was distilled in 2016, and offers flavours of red grapes, plums, dark spicy oak, vanilla, toffee, raspberries, cherries, dates, peppery red wine, sweet malt and dark chocolate.

Bottled at a cask strength of 56.3% ABV, just 139 bottles were produced.

A remarkably well-aged single grain whisky from the now closed Port Dundas distillery, bottled by Signatory Vintage for their Cask Strength series.

This 1996 vintage has been aged in a pair of Hogshead casks for a full quarter century, producing a lush, sweet and delicious whisky.

The spirit offers notes of sweet apples and pears, honeyed grain, almonds, flowers, strawberries, ginger, maple syrup, old oak, toffee, coconut, orange zest, white chocolate, creamy spice and freshly baked bread.

Presented at a cask strength of 57.3% ABV, this is a full bodied and rich whisky.

A wine cask whiskey from Irish distillers, Teeling.

This dram was made using casks from Franz Hahn, a winery in the Pfalz region of Germany. These barrels had previously held Chardonnay Spätlese Trocken – a dry late harvest wine.

The spirit was finished in the wine casks for a year, producing a juicy, fruity whiskey with notes of pineapple, white grapes, peach, apples, grapefruit rind, bright grain, a little vanilla, white sugar, nutmeg and gentle flowers.

A very drinkable Irish drop.

A remarkably delicious dram from Taiwanese distillery Kavalan.

This is a classic sherry bomb. Unsurprisingly, given its name, the spirit has been aged in three kinds of sherry barrel: Oloroso, PX and Moscatel.

The end result is a rich, thick whisky with notes of toasted nuts, chocolate covered dried fruits, creamy coffee, orange segments, caramel, malt, dates, vanilla, mango, dark oak, strawberries in balsamic, dried apricots and blackcurrant cordial.

Impressive stuff from Kavalan again.
