Gartneriet Skovbrynet blev grundlagt i 1972 af brødrene Benno og John Aavang Jensen og ejes i dag af Benno og hans søn Jeppe. Efter nogle år som gartner i Spanien og Holland og som formand på et stort dansk gartneri, kom Jeppe hjem til gartneriet og overtog i oktober 2011 sin onkels del af virksomheden. Gartneriet Skovbrynet er et familieforetagende, Jeppes hustru Karina Kongstad arbejder også i v

irksomheden. Igennem årene er gartneriet blevet renoveret og udvidet flere gange, så det i dag er på 11.000 m2. De senere år er der blevet investeret i varmebesparende gardiner og fuldautomatiske computer som styrer klimaet, da vi ønsker at have fokus på et også i fremtiden reduceret energiforbrug. Gartneriet Skovbrynet producere årligt ca. 1 mio. potteplanter fordelt på flere forskellige kulturer. Hovedkulturerne er Chlorophytum Comosum (Væddeløber), Cyperus Zumula (Kattegræs) og Impatiens New Guinea (Flittig Hans eller Balsamin). Det er Gartneriet Skovbrynets mål at producere potteplanter af højest mulig kvalitet og holdbarhed, til glæde for både samarbejdspartnere og slutforbruger.
