Every rice raffia bag is carefully handcrafted by skilled women in Madagascar using a natural fiber we've loved since the very beginning. Each piece is one of a kind, with its own unique weave, shape, and beautiful little details ✨

Back in 1998, our founders traveled to Madagascar looking for embroidery to complete their very first collection. Instead, they discovered raffia and instantly fell in love with its beauty, craftsmanship, and endless possibilities.

That journey marked the beginning of rice. What started with colorful raffia bags soon grew into baskets, home décor, and a universe filled with color, creativity, and Everyday Magic 💫

For 28 years, we've stayed true to the same idea:
Fun. Funky. Functional.

And it all began with a bag. 💛
