Dear friends and network,

The world is in disarray – Trump has turned his back on the West, and especially on Ukraine.

We must never forget that here in our little corner of the world, we have the luxury of worrying about interest rate hikes and the rising cost of milk. We do not risk being killed in nightly drone or missile attacks. We do not risk having our men, young guys, and fathers sent to the front lines. We raise money for "Knæk Cancer" – not to build drones and buy weapons…

A year ago, the association Prints 4 Ukraine DK was founded. Today, we are over 70 volunteers who 3D print parts that we send to Ukraine. These include components for both the military and field hospitals. So far, we have printed over 90,000 units! All delivered directly to the frontline. But...

We are trapped by Danish bureaucracy and the lack of responsibility from Danish ministries, which means we currently cannot get approval for a bank account or a fundraising permit. What does this mean?

We are not allowed to collect money from the general public. But! According to Danish fundraising regulations, we are allowed to receive donations and gifts from friends and acquaintances.

So, please hear my plea!

Det er imponerende alle de vilde designs der bliver lavet. 3d print er virkelig en frembrusende industri. Her er kan man se nogle forskellige konkurrencer hvor designerne virkelig tænker ud af boksen. Heldigvis er printerne idag blevet så gode så hvis det kan designes, kan det printes 💪😘

Der har været stille et stykke tid herfra, men det betyder ikke at værkstedet har stået stille. Printeren har arbejdet på højtryk.
Her er lidt fra den seneste tid. Både venner, datter og hamster har nydt godt af printeren.

It has been quiet here for a while, but that doesn't mean the workshop has been idle. The printer has been running at full speed. Here's a little update from recent times. Both friends, my daughter, and the hamster have benefited from the printer.

Sometimes you see how fantastic 3D printing is. Today is a special day, as our much-missed grandfather Erling Madsen would have had a birthday. In his memory I have made a relief which can adorn our living room like so many other things that remind us of him. ❤️
