Architecture meets gastronomy.

Tucked within the calm of Marselisborg Forest, unfolds as a refined dialogue between architecture, materiality, and gastronomy.

Here, surfaces were selected not only for their aesthetic qualities, but for the emotions they evoke. Bespoke furniture establishes rhythm and proportion, while a carefully considered lighting scheme by enhances depth, atmosphere, and spatial flow. Warm walnut adds softness, and travertine creates a natural continuity between interior and exterior.

Developed in close collaboration with Wassim Hallal and Fredsted, the project reflects a shared ambition, shaped through trust and precision.

Meet Thomas Ellingsøe, Head of Projects and Development, with a dedicated focus on our wooden flooring program.

Thomas is part of our core team, working closely with projects and partners to develop thoughtful flooring solutions rooted in material understanding and architectural context. With a strong eye for detail and a deep respect for natural materials, he helps ensure each solution supports both the aesthetic and functional ambitions of the project.

A careful transformation of a protected 1899 building in the heart of the city, redefining the structure behind its preserved facade. The project houses Bestseller’s new flagship store at street level, with retail across two connected floors, and flexible office spaces above with private terraces.

Fredsted has supplied Grigio Bottarga in our velvet finish for the interior surfaces – selected for its tactile depth and calm, architectural expression, supporting the project’s restrained material palette of stone, concrete, and steel.

Sider Inside is one of Vaselli’s existing designs, defined by refined materiality, precision, and craftsmanship.

Crafted in Becagli Travertine, the interior brings together stone, wood, and light in a calm, balanced composition. Wall-mounted sliding fronts in dark iron allow the kitchen to be revealed or concealed, creating a quiet interplay between solidity and lightness.

Every detail is considered: drawers softly illuminated from within and finished with fine wooden inlays, and a hand-carved stone sink seamlessly integrated into the countertop.

Material options can be explored in our studio, allowing each Vaselli design to be tailored beyond a fixed model.

Moments from an architectural trip to Truffer Vals, Switzerland. Earlier this year, we travelled together with KAARK - Kenneth Arboe Arkitektur to visit Vals and experience the architecture and landscape that define the area.
The trip was an opportunity to share perspectives on architecture, materials and future design. A part of our ongoing visits with architects to our skilled partners around the world.

We look forward to the next journey.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE | Dec 20th – Jan 4th

As the year comes to an end, we step into a winter break with gratitude for the collaborations, conversations, and inspiring projects that have shaped the year behind us. This past year has been defined by thoughtful processes, the digitalisation of our material, interior and online universe, and strong partnerships grounded in a shared commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Thank you all for being part of our 2025.

The Fredsted office, showroom, and webshop will be closed from December 20th to January 4th.
