Meet SCMP DESIGN OFFICE, a French design firm who has created the DORVAL Series. 🤩

The first artwork in the series, DORVAL_10, shows the smoothness of a cable detail. DORVAL_11, the second in the series, contemplate the expression of bringing life through lights. DORVAL_12 and DORVAL_13 focus on the abstraction of raw material and assembly of spare parts.

Creating a gallery wall is the perfect way to show off your favorite artwork. 😍
The hard part? Knowing how to create the right layout.🥵

But with these five easy steps it is going to be simple, not stressful:

Step 1.
Choose items that go together but aren't matchy-matchy.
This means finding a theme or a color palette that matches.

Step 2.
Test, test, and test.
The layout is the hardest part of creating a gallery wall. So before you start nailing holes in your wall try different layouts on either the floor or with tape on the wall.

Step 3.
Start in the Center.
First, find the center of either the wall or a piece of furniture, which is placed center. Then design your layout around a piece placed in the middle and mix it with smaller artworks or more oversized items.

Then Rui Pereira is the perfect choice for you.

This poster 👆 are called Sapore dei mobili (Furniture taste) started as a reflection on the fast-paced furniture industry and consequent customer inability to ‘digest’ the amount of product launched yearly.
In these posters, blown-up cakes shaped as chairs and lamps are prized as anonymous icons, a manifesto about the lack of innovation in the creative industries, where the sole commercial purpose homogenized the global offer.
