Dear clients and friends,

The summer holiday is drawing close! And we can feel it already 😄
We have done our best to stock all the items you want, but also not too much, so we don't have a large stock during our holiday. We will be closed from July 07 through 31, and then we will start shipping orders again after that. If you place an order during the holiday, your payment will not be processed until we ship the items when we're back.

As always, we have new items in the shop, this time we got a new 500 ml rice vinegar from Mizkan, Gohan Desu-yo (fermentet seaweed, healthy and delicious with rice), Nametake (chopped and spiced/pickled enoki mushrooms), and delicious red bean Yokan bars in handy 7-pc bags. The latter is a very traditional Japanese snack not normally found here. We hope you will like these products, so we can continue to sell them ☺️

We have many times on sale now, so hurry while stocks last, and pay extra attention to our current promotion on Japanese sake - we tried some different producers, and now we want to clear some stocks, so we have room for other popular products. You can find very reduced prices for sake in the shop now, so don't wait, some of them won't come back again when they are sold out 😅

Dear Friends and Clients,

What a great start to 2026, it's so nice to be able to keep going on our 6th year because of your support 🙏

We were very low on stocks in December due to a delayed pallet from Japan, but when it finally arrived we were quickly very busy again, restocked lots of dearly missed items, and also got new ones on the shelves again. This time we have added more sake, all from Hana no Mai (Dance of the Flowers) in the Shizuoka province in central Japan. We got a very nice Junmai Ginjo using locally grown Homare Fuji rice, it comes in a full bottle size with carton box or in a smaller "One Cup" size. We also got a very nice Junmai Nigori Genshu, which is a milky white semi-filtered sake at natural brewing strength (18.5 %). We hope you will like them! We also, finally, got Consomme! We have seriously been trying to get that since we started, and now it was finally possible. We hope you have been waiting for it as well! We have also added one more flavor of Strong Zero sugar free alcohol sodas, this time we got Ume Plum, with it's fragrant and sweet plum notes. Hurry up if you want some 😅 Lastly, we got a new spicy noodle option, the Sapporo Ichiban Super Spicy Uma-Miso Tanmen instant noodles - we were extremely pleasantly surprised with how much flavor they have, they're full of umami and not just dry and "chili only" flavored like so many other spicy noodles are. They're ridiculously good, and we hope you will try them!

New items aside, we also got more Ichiran Ramen in, and if you have been waiting for them, you need to hurry, because they're almost sold out again! We can't blame anyone, they are so extremely tasty 😁

Yoshiya's belated 5 year birthday is here, and in combination with "Black Month", we are running some of the biggest discounts we have ever done before, some more than 20 %! For many products, prices have never been so low, and the normal price was already the lowest in Denmark 😁

We hope you will take advantage of this time limited offer, but please be quick, as some items are expected to sell out fast. Some items will also not be restocked after they sell out, so grab them while you have the chance.

Dear Friends and Clients,

The holidays are over, and we had an amazing time in Japan as always 😁 We are back, and we have received a very large delivery, so we could restock all the items, so many of you had asked for. Strong Zero and Pocari Sweat Powder finally back in stock, sorry for the long wait!
But, we also got a lot of new items in! We noticed the growing demand for Japanese soft drinks, so we have added Yakult Mi-Luge soda, Grape Soda Ramune, Sweet Mikan Crush juice, and two unsweetened Japanese teas - Green tea and Oolong tea in cans. Plastic bottles are now completely gone from our drinks assortment. We also added the amazing Suntory Kaku Whisky Highball, which is so good in a tall glass with ice cubes, and then we got one more version of the spaghetti sauces - crab meat and creamy tomato, yum!

Later we will get even more new products, but please try these ones first, and let us know what you think! Anything we're still missing that is a "must have"? Just let us know in the comments 😊

Dear Friends and Clients,

Summer is approaching, and it means it's time to stock up for the holidays. We will be closed from June 24 to August 17, both days included, so please get your shopping done as early as possible, so the items you need don't sell out. We have good stocks of most of our products, and a lot of them are on sale, so please support us if you can by buying early and with lots of items from our great selection, so we can keep offering you genuine Japanese products for many years to come 🥳

We got our amazing value fresh ginger and garlic back in stock (we couldn't live without these), and we got the new canned Pocari Sweat (hurry if you want this one), spaghetti sauces, fukujinzuke, sweet plum paste, Shio-Konbu for summer salads, a massive selection of noodles, beer, sake & shochu, and hundreds of other products that can make cooking and dining more fun and rewarding 😀

Dear friends and clients,

We're back again with more news - we have received some large deliveries, so we have a lot of products in stock, and very few out of stock now. We also have 5 new amazing products that we hope you will love as much as we do - two very high quality mazekomi and furikake from famous producer Kuki, two flavors of delicious spaghetti sauce (yuzu-kosho & Mushroom and Consomme & Clam, yum!), and also really tasty "instant" fresh miso soup paste with Shijimi (tiny clams), which is so easy and suits most meals as a healthy side dish.
We also apologize to all that have asked where our amazing yakinori has gone, unfortunately it was discontinued, and we are struggling to find a high quality product from Japan of a similar quality, that can be sold at a reasonable price also. We keep searching!
As always, you can always get in touch to ask about our products or let us know if you're looking for something you think should be in our shop, then we will do our best to find it for you. The only condition is that it's a Japanese product ☺️

Dear friends and clients,

A belated very happy new year to all of you, let's hope 2025 will be a great year for everyone 🥰

We enjoyed our holiday in Japan very much, and we apologize to those that had to wait a bit to have their orders shipped while we were away 🙏

Now we're back, and we have received new deliveries of products, so please don't hold back and get what you need before we run out again 😄 We also have new products this time! Kirin tea is back, with both Lemon tea and Milk tea, this time in smaller cans, since the plastic bottles cannot be imported into the EU anymore. We got a spicier version of the popular hot pot soup stock from Daisho in collaboration with Ippudo, it's really amazing and can be served vegan or with meat, according to your preference. We also have 3 new products from Momoya - a spicier version of the extremely popular Taberu Layu spicy oil with roasted garlic, which we're sure will be a hit for those that love it hot; Ume Gonomi, which is a fermented plum paste full of umami and salty/sour goodness; and lastly, finally Fukujin-zuke is back again, this time in a glass, not a plastic bag, and this one does not contain any unnecessary food coloring! We're sure you will love these products as much as we do 😅

So, we are just a few days away from closing for the year, so if you still didn't finish your Christmas and New Year shopping, please don't wait, because we want to be sure we can ship out all orders before our holiday starts 😅

As always, orders can be placed while we are closed, but we will not send or take payments until we start again on January 7, 2025.

We have received our last deliveries for the year, so if something is sold out, unfortunately we won't get more until next year, and we apologize if you didn't get the product you need.

Yoshiya is turning 4 years old! October is the birthday month, it's hard to believe it's been 4 years already. We really didn't know what would happen when we started, and we thought it might end up being just a hobby, but we have grown over the years to be an actual business that is able to stay alive. We are very proud of that, and we are so happy with all your support!
We never know how the market will develop, and we have tried many things that were not popular, but now we believe we have the best selection for the Danish market, for clients that want the best quality genuine Japanese products. And not only Denmark, as we also started shipping to the rest of the EU less than a year ago, and we're happy to serve our foreign clients as well.

We hope you have all had a great summer! We're back and have received our first large shipment after the holiday today, so we hope you will find most of the products you have been waiting for in the shop now! If something still isn't in, send us a message and we'll let you know when it's coming 😊

Also, we have new items yet again - two new flavors of our very popular hot pot soup bases, one with soy bean and sesame flavor, and a vegan soy based "Ippudo" soup, which is slightly spicy - both are really amazing! We also got the wonderful light and crispy Aerial chips with rock salt flavor, Chuka Aji spice powder, and Hondashi from Ajinomoto, which quite a few people have asked for. Our Rah noodle packs have changed size, the new ones are 3-pack sizes instead of 5-pack, we believe that's more suitable for most clients, and the price per pack is still the same. We hope we keep adjusting our selection to be precisely what you want it to be!
