Meet the team
Jonathan Simonsen.
"Hi! My name is Jonathan Simonsen. I am a co-owner and the CSO of TuneStep. I have a background in music and sales, and I also contribute to acquiring user feedback, since I surround my self with various artists on a day-to-day basis."
Why did you start at TuneStep?
"I was blown away by the concept and the amount of thought, time and industry-knowledge put into it. The structure and value Tunestep creates for artists and curators/influencers alike were undeniable, and working in the music industry has always been a top priority of mine. So, I joined the team and haven't looked back since."
Are you a musician yourself?
"I've been playing guitar for about 10 years, though it was never something I aspired to do for a living. It is purely for enjoyment."
What advice would you give aspiring artists?
"Focus on creating great music. Your key product is your music and building a true fanbase will only be consistent with the quality of your creative work. Let us help you with the rest!"
